A 2025 study published in Frontiers in Psychology, involving 425 students, found that peer support significantly increased student engagement and participation in collaborative learning environments. Students who felt supported by their peers were more likely to stay involved in learning activities and remain motivated throughout their studies.
This sense of community helps learners become more confident, ask questions more freely, and overcome challenges together.
